Waterfront Engineering, Inc. performed a seawall repair for Morton Plant Hospital Association, Inc. in the spring of 2015, commencing April 2015 and completing in July 2015. The project extended over a period of 90 days, with a total contract price of $261,400.00.
The work encompassed providing all labor, equipment, material, building permits and incidentals too construct the seawall repairs per plans prepared by Reuben Carson Consulting. Scope covered approx. 571 LF of vinyl sheet pile seawall (sheets, cap, anchors, filler and drains), as well as constructing 18' --6" long fasda and cap at the southwest corner of seawall, a pipe headwall at the south wall, and aluminum pipe guardrail. All cleanup, asphalt and grass repairs was also included.
Waterfront Engineering completed on time and within budget, and we were very pleased with their workmanship. They communicated well, kept the job site clean and dear of debris, and overall satisfaction was excellent. We would not hesitate to use their services again.

I submit a letter of reference for Waterfront Engineering Inc. with regards to Bulkhead and Seawall Work completed as part of a Citywide Seawall Repair Project. The overall Project has included multiple locations throughout the City requiring varying degrees of repair that has included Mobilization, Demolition, Installation of Vinyl Sheet Pile Walls, Caps, and Tie rods, Anchors, RipsRap and Restoration of Areas as detailed in Design Plans. The most recent work consisted of five locations located on the Beach Islands with a total linear footage of (616 FT) that began in February 2016 and recently completed at the end of August 2016 with the completion cost of ($178,707.00). The quality of workmanship and overall satisfaction of this work and previous jobs has been consistent and highly satisfactory. Waterfront Engineering Staff have been accommodating to work with and are able to adapt with typical construction conditions, concerns and request in order to complete the work in a professional manner.

Danny and his team are the best. What more can I say! I live in south Tampa. I have been attempting to build a dock/boat lift/dredge under the lift for over two years, but variance issues, neighbor disputes, EPC setbacks,and lazy/inept other dock contractors made me think we would never be able to put a boat in my back yard. Until...Danny is truly a miracle worker! He was able to negotiate (and please) me and my two neighbors! We all actually have had Danny now build a dock for us. The bid was very fair, he included the top quality materials, with out me having to negotiate for them, and without annoying upcharges His work is even better!! My dock is obviously over built, and beautiful ! In the two years prior to working with Danny and waterfront engineering I have had many if the local dock builders over for their opinion and estimates. After all the crap of those two years, I would do it again, because it got Danny in my door and on the job! Trust me, there are some shady dock guys out there. Danny is a man of integrity , and his work is the best. If you are looking to have a dock built, do yourself a favor and speak to Danny at waterfront engineering. As importantly, I just wanted to drop you a note thanking you and your Team for the outstanding work you've done. At every stage of the way, both you and your guys have just done the right thing - starting with the protracted neighbor discussions that lasted many months ... to how you leave the job site each day (i.e., Trek boards neatly stacked on the driveway so as not to kill the grass, but off to the side so as not to impede garage access; using a construction cone in the driveway each day; utilizing a red flag on the top piling for safety; tying off dock ingress each night after your crew leaves; etc.).
I grew up with a family in construction and there's a 'right way' and a 'wrong way' to do every job. And you guys have just done it right. Not everyone gets this.
Anyway, just an unsolicited note to say that your attention to detail is not unnoticed - and thanks for a job well done! I'd highly recommend your work to anyone without reservation.

From the detailed 2-hour visit to produce a thorough estimate to the last day the workers completed the job, this company was one of the most diligent and professional contractors that not only had I used ever before but that I of which I had even heard! Danny and his crew were unbelievable workers! They may have taken all of 20-30 minutes total break time at lunch and that was it! I have never used a contractor so responsible, professional and genuinely dedicated to a project that was no less than perfect! I can't recommend this company higher-they ARE the best! We had estimates from several other companies for our new 90foot sea wall and even initially hired a less expensive one-but a couple of weeks into the "process" we found them to be incompetent and later learned that they weren't confident they would do the best job- they felt they weren't ready for the risk. Then, once I checked Angie's List to find other companies, I found Danny, at Waterfront Engineering who put all the cards on the table at the onset and was not only confident but very reassuring. They were a bit more expensive than some of the estimates ( about in the middle of our quotes) but you get what you pay for and they far surpassed our expectations for this large and expensive project THAT IS PRICELESS!!! Thank you Danny, Eduardo and the guys! You know your stuff and I FULLY recommend them! A++++++

It was by good fortune that one morning in early July 2003 while I was standing on my back porch and noticed Waterfront Engineering installing a boat lift across the channel in the Dana Shores section of Tampa. My sea wall was originally built in the late 60’s and the cap was broken in several places. I had been approached by several companies in the past, all giving reasons why we needed a new seawall. I drove over to the next street in hopes of meeting someone to discuss my problem with. I was introduced to Jan Anseeuw, he had his brother Danny contact me within 24 hours. In the mean time I had found out that his company was very well known and respected in the industry. Danny told me that no work would be done by them unless an engineer specializing in seawalls inspects the job first. I contacted the engineer who came to do the inspection within two weeks. Once the report was given I received a proposal from Waterfront Engineering by August 5th.
I was very pleased to find that I did not have to replace the entire seawall and awarded the job to them. As soon as the permit was granted the crew arrived and to my delight the work was completed in under a month. Everything was done in a professional manner with knowledge and integrity at the forefront.
Not to use Waterfront Engineering for you dock or seawall would be a mistake. I spent years listening to Waterfronts competition and believe me when I say “deal with Danny and Jan Anseeuw of Waterfront Engineering and you will be completely satisfied”.

Dear Sirs,
I am writing this letter in regards to my recent seawall replacement by Waterfront Engineering, Inc. The experience was one I dreaded; due to my failing seawall. I had several Contractors’ provide me their opinions and option’s on the work that needed to be done to secure the water’s edge.
While most of the options provided by the Contractor’s where similar, I was impressed by Danny’s approach in resolving my issues. His honest and no BS approach was what put Waterfront Engineering on the top of my list.
The work entailed removal of existing cap and installing +/-200LF of composite sheeting with new cap at and elevation two feet higher than existing.
The Waterfront Engineering crew mobilized on schedule, and worked continuously until the project was completed. The workmanship was superior to the neighbors beside me who had the same work done by another Contractor two months earlier, and at less cost.
Thank you for a beautiful seawall!!!! I am sure it will be there for a long time. I will definitely be able to enjoy the security of it, for the rest of my life.
